Product Introduction

UPSC notices (2024–2025) commonly specify JPG format and 20–300 KB for both photo and signature. Portal/FAQ guidance shows square pixel ranges (photo 550–1000 px; signature 350–550 px) and recent OTR screens further ask for white background, face ≈75%, photo taken within 10 days, and Name+Date printed at the bottom. This tool applies those defaults, runs fully in‑browser, and lets you one‑click add Name+Date.

Frequently Asked Questions

20–200 KB or 20–300 KB?

Older PDFs sometimes say 20–200 KB, but recent UPSC notices use 20–300 KB. Always follow your current exam notice.

Must the image be square?

OTR/FAQ show square pixel ranges; a square crop avoids portal rejections.

Do I need Name+Date on the photo?

Recent OTR guidance asks to print candidate name and date at the bottom; the tool offers an optional overlay.

‘Within 10 days’ — do you check it?

We do not validate EXIF. Use the date picker to self‑declare and ensure compliance.

Compliance note: Always follow the current UPSC notice/OTR instructions for your exam.
